The Mark of Chroma was my senior thesis project at the Cleveland Institute of Art. The characters, levels, design, and programming of the game were all done by myself. Some of the architectural assets were developed with the help of Ian Saslow.
The central theme of the game is "power through movement." Every action the player makes upon the world is based on momentum. To defeat an enemy you must paint a circle around them.
A single enemy in an open field, no problem. Six in an alley and you're in trouble.
